Raw state of being, continued...

I am a straightforward and honest person. Many who know me might say I am blunt because I cut to the chase and share what is on my mind. I don’t like to sugar coat things although I do choose my words carefully and I try to pick my battles. I feel it is a waste of time to humor someone who is blowing smoke when this smoke is detrimental to me.

I am the mother in a blended family (with 4 teens). I am self-employed (both me and my fiancĂ©), with businesses we are both working to grow. And, to top it off, I’m back to school in career transition. When I think of all of the energy swirling around in my world, it can be intimidating. Although, my past has consisted of many humbling and raw moments, and because of this, I can appreciate my life today. I love my kids and my fiancĂ©. I feel like I’m at the brink of something very big in my career and I’m sure this path will lead to success.

I can’t complain. I credit this to the broken states I’ve suffered in the past. I truly believe you will not find core happiness on a track that doesn’t align with your soul purpose. And, if you are not on this proper path, the universe will break you down leaving you in this raw state enabling a “do over” time and time again until you get it right.

Have you gotten it right or are you getting ready for a do over? Leave me a note and let’s talk about it!

I wish my hair was still this healthy! Lifetime Art Impressions, LLC photo

As of late I have been having health issues and one of the scary things that I’ve noticed is more hair loss. I am grateful that new growth is occurring but I want to do everything possible to encourage healthier hair.

I just went for blood works yesterday and I was told it would take about 2 weeks for results. Beside hair loss, I’ve actually become very jittery. It almost feels like I haven’t eaten and because of this I’m shaky but this isn’t the case. I eat 3 meals daily and snack in between. One thing I have dramatically changed in 2013 is my sugar intake. I have really minimized eating sugary junk food and I have cut pop totally out of my diet. Perhaps this may have caused an unbalance, I’m not sure?

I’m hoping my symptoms are caused by something minor but only time will tell, until then I’m praying for a good outcome.

I will keep you posted. In the meantime, share your thoughts on hair health with me; any tips you have are appreciated!

Being an entrepreneur, continued...

Do you ever think about quitting your job and embracing your entrepreneurial spirit? If so, Jeff Steinmann is here to help you embrace this concept.

He continued the interview by offering his career detail.

“My Official company name is Braveau Experts, but I operate under the brand: How to Quit Working. My title is Author and Entrepreneur. In my business I run the company along with a small international team of contractors and create all the content, as well as provide private consulting to people who want to achieve a life of freedom through entrepreneurship by leveraging their knowledge.”

Jeff reiterated his goals, “My business is about changing the way we think about life. Our society tells us we need to first figure out how to make money (standard career path), and then do the things we really care about after we've made that money. There's never any time left. I help people make that shift through my free blog content, weekly show, my new book, How to Quit Working, online training and private consulting practice. All these things provide the most advanced, streamlined and effective business and marketing advice for people who want to live life on their terms.”

Jeff’s inspiration, “The most important thing I did to enable that transition was listen to a lot of positive, motivational material like Jack Canfield, Tony Robbins and Zig Ziglar. These guys kept me going. I never gave up the dream of what I wanted. Each day, week, year, it felt a little bit less scary and I was just a little bit more ready until finally, my mentality shifted. I became more afraid of not trying than of failing. When that fear shifted, everything changed. I was now more afraid of being stuck in this life I didn't like than of failing if I tried something different.”

He had to step up to the new challenge.

In his words, “I had a lot to learn. I mostly had to figure out how to get my mindset in the right place and have the right attitude to be a successful entrepreneur. Financially, I was lucky enough to be making good money so I could afford to invest in the training, coaching, and consulting that I needed to be successful. Anyone can create this type of life all we need is for more people to be supportive by saying, 'Yep, you can totally do that.' I've created a place for people to get this support and encouragement, while providing me with an avenue to live the life I want to live.”

Why he didn’t make the change sooner, “I wanted to do this for 10 years, but couldn't gather the courage. It took me that long to get ready. This meant plugging away and putting one foot in front of the other, until I got over the fear and made the commitment. Nothing would make me happier than to shorten this time DRASTICALLY for others who want to make a similar shift. I finally made the commitment on an airplane in November of 2011 and decided I would leave my job on June 30th 2012. I beat this goal, April 13th, 2012 was the last day I ever worked for someone else!”

When you are passionate about your focus and efforts, you are not working in a job instead you are manifesting your dream!

I recently received a fan email thank you from James Van Praagh offering a vocal meditation where he guides you through each Chakra and color to help enable your health and improve your intuition. This was the inspiration for today’s article.

I do believe, on a spiritual level, we have such energy focal points within our body. It makes sense to me how a blockage can manifest in health concerns. I have written about this in the past when I was educated by the holistic healers Dr. Oz had presented on his talk show.

Have you ever had your aura read before? This is a little off topic but it is read based on the colors you project. It is all linked together and at the spiritual foundation is color.

If you’re discounting the empowerment of color, it is time to re-think this path. The health benefits are there for the taking!

Drop me a note with your thoughts on this intriguing topic, I want to read them.
